Senior Stretch

A fitness class is offered to those Scott County citizens who are 60 years and older.  This class helps seniors regain flexibility and strength through a series of specially designed movements.  The class will meet at the Senior Citizen’s Village at Cardome.

Silver Sneakers® Cardio Circuit

Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

Ignition

Ignition is a high intensity interval training that uses relatively short, high intensity cardiovascular intervals that are alternated with less intense active recovery intervals of strength exercise. The focus is on integration, rather than isolated single joint exercise and introduces multi-joint movement that have a high transfer into activities of daily living and sports performance.

Booiaka®

Booiaka® is the only fitness dance workout that truly embraces & celebrates music, entertainment, and dance! Play Russian Roulette with your workout. A mix of intervals with and without weights! You never know what you’ll get….class could have kickboxing, Tabata style, weight training, extreme cardio & more. This fat burning mesh of workouts is sure to leave you with an accomplished feeling at the end of class. No matter what your level, come join us! Class length 45 minutes.
